Anastasia State Park, FL
Anastasia State Park is extraordinary. It is everything that we love in a state park. The campsites were woodsy, large, clean and very private sites. The restrooms were close, clearly marked, and clean. The sites have electric and water, but the dump station had three stations that were large, easy pull-through. We enjoyed the woodsy campsite, but with the close proximity to so many things. We were a mile from the beach and even closer to kayaking in the inlet. We were a five-minute walk to THE AMP. The Anastasia State Park Beach was connected to the St Augustine Beach. Anastasia State Park is quieter, but St Augustine Beach allows dogs and adult beverages. We were a quick 10 minute drive to historic downtown ST AUGUSTINE, which had the history, restaurants, and city tours. We have already booked two more visits to the park. If you are going, book early, because it fills up quick.
